The Fourth

Our 4th of July weekend was pretty low key, which was a nice change considering all the traveling we have been doing lately. My parents came in, which you can imagine made two little people very happy.

And basically we just did your typical 4th of July things...

sported red, white and blue...

chillaxed...

ate cool treats...

lots of pool time....complete with pruned feet
and water-logged diapers.

parade watching

and flag waving

We also stuck in a trip to the aquarium, which we were sure that a certain 2 year old would love. Wrong.
She was terrified.

Understandably so.  I mean, does this guy look friendly to you?

And we were also sure that a certain almost 10 month old would be too young to enjoy it. Wrong again.

He LOVED it.

By the end Rylee warmed up a little bit.

And by the end Jake was, well.....

And last but not least, we celebrated and sang Happy Birthday to our Country, "Erica" America.
